Meet the Mountain CAD principals
Jerry Workman, PE, Barry Thaxton and Rex Thaxton founded Mountain CAD Corporation on July 6, 1994. Each of these individuals brought unique talents to this endeavor. Jerry's background was that of engineering manager and CAD user. Barry had already been supporting networks, PC and Sun Workstations and a variety of operating systems for eleven years by 1994. Barry's brother Rex rounded out the scenario through his experience with sales and marketing of CAD and GIS systems.
The goal of the company when founded and which still holds true today, is to provide cutting edge technology solutions to the fields of mechanical engineering, civil engineering and surveying, architecture, land planning and GIS.
Mountain CAD is not just a software company. The most important thing about us is that we work hard to provide solutions to your problems. Sometimes this may be the sale of a piece of software or hardware. Sometimes it may be training your staff, sometimes it may be getting your network running properly and sometimes it may be getting your company connected to the Internet. Whatever the case, we have the expertise and the right products to address your needs.
