AutoCAD Architecture Fundamentals

Courseware Descripition: This courseware concentrates on the design development and construction documentation features within AutoCAD Architecture. Users are exposed to the tools required to create a basic floor plan and specialty objects column and ceiling grids, stairs, and roofs. The training guide also introduces drawing management through the Project Navigator. Hands on exercises throughout the courseware explore how to create and edit architectural drawings.

Objectives: The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with the concepts and application of the essential functions of AutoCAD Architecture. After completing this course, students should be able to:

  • Create specialty objects such as columns or ceiling grids, stairs and railings
  • Add roof and floor slabs
  • Be familar with Projects and the Project Navigator
